Robert Way Memorial Scholarship
The Robert Way Memorial Scholarship was established in 2002 and named in memory of Christ’s Church founding Pastor, Robert Way. The scholarship is available only to members and the children of members of Christ’s Church who are attending an Assemblies of God college as a full time student. There are no restrictions on the degree plan that you might chose to pursue.
The Robert Way Memorial Scholarship may be applied for once per year. Please note that the funds are sent directly to the college that you are attending and not to the student. To be eligible the applicant must:
1) Be an Active Attendee / Member at Christ’s Church.
2) Be currently enrolled in an Assemblies of God college
3) Apply no later than June 31st of the year
4) Complete an essay titled “My Relationship with Jesus”
The Robert Way Memorial Scholarship funding will be awarded:
Freshman Year - $ 500.00 per Semester (Max of $ 1,00.00 per year)
Sophomore Year - $ 750.00 per Semester (Max of $ 1,500.00 per year)
Junior Year - $ 1000.00 per Semester (Max of $ 2,000.00 per year)
Senior Year - $ 1250.00 per Semester (Max of $ 2,500.00 per year)
The maximum amount that can be awarded cannot exceed $ 7,000.00 per person during the course of the student’s education at an Assemblies of God college. Scholarship Monies will be sent only after confirmation of enrollment is completed. Enrollment will be confirmed with your college each semester. Applicants must re-apply each year to continue receiving the Scholarship. Each year your application will be reviewed to determine if you are still eligible to receive this scholarship. If you are not currently a Member in good standing at Christ’s Church, you must obtain a letter from a staff Pastor showing your status as a regular attendee of Christ’s Church.
